LUNCH BY THE CANAL

Whether it is a catch-up with friends, a long lunch or an excuse to escape for a couple of hours, settle in at 1740 and let us take care of the cooking.
Expect freshly prepared dishes, quality ingredients and the generous portions we are becoming known for, served in a relaxed canalside setting.
And when the Lancashire weather is on our side, there are few better places to enjoy a drink than beside the canal.
Our kitchen is open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday.

Ease into the evening with Golden Hour at 1740.
Join us Monday to Thursday between 4pm and 6pm for selected drinks offers.
The kitchen is closed on Mondays, but our bar remains open, so you are still very welcome to join us for a drink by the canal.

THURSDAY STEAK NIGHT
Thursday night, done properly.
Good steak, a bottle of wine and no cooking required.
Join us every Thursday for Steak Night and enjoy a selected bottle of wine for £15 when ordering steak from our menu.

Friday evenings at 1740 are made for staying out a little longer.
Start with dinner, order the cocktails and settle in for live music from 7:30pm, with different performers joining us throughout the year.
Whether it is date night, drinks with friends or the beginning of a weekend away at Pyes Mill, expect good food, a relaxed atmosphere and a proper start to the weekend.

Slow Sundays down with a roast beside the Lancaster Canal.

Sunday lunch is popular, so advance booking is recommended.
